
In January 2025 the Harris Center Board of Trustees adopted an agency policy that gives our union official status.
Through this new policy we have also won the right:
to meet with the CEO as a union 12 times a year to discuss any issues related to our compensation and working conditions
to present directly to the Board as a union 4 times a year
to join the union by payroll deduction of our union dues
to hold union events in our Harris Center workplaces and offices
to have union representation in disciplinary and termination hearings
Union members have already begun meeting with CEO Wayne Young to discuss pay raises, working conditions, client care, and our rights on the job.
